About

Mr. Noritaka Noda is president of Ikenobo Ikebana NYC Chapter and also the first and only US special professor recognized by Ikenobo Headquarters in Kyoto, Japan.

He studied graphic design in Japan and in the United States. Being inspired with the use of dried flowers in his projects, he began to be interested in designing using fresh floral materials – leading him to study Japanese floral design (Ikebana) and western floral design in New York and Japan. Mr. Noda’s floral design business has flourished beautifully due to his creativity, talent and unique design skills. His clientele includes a number of American and Japanese corporations, restaurants, retail, private events, museums, etc.

As a professor of Ikebana, he conducts many demonstrations and teaches classes at the Nippon Club. His classes are for beginner to advanced levels as well as special classes for kids. You can choose from morning, afternoon, evening or weekend classes.
